Aspect of Death Rage

Personality: Muxalza is not what you would expect from the first time you meet him. He is quiet, respectful and nice.. That is, until he snaps. You see, Hueco Mundo has come to realize something. Making Muxalza angry is not something you live to tell the tale for. Known for wiping out entire cities of Arrancar just because he's the slightest bit annoyed is nothing out of the ordinary. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. This Espada is something that even if you wanted to hate him, just seeing the way he goes about his work would convert the stoutest pacifist. A true master of his art, he thrives in areas where anger is the dominant emotion, the very presence of it boosting his powers. No one knows why he is like this. Maybe he was abused as a child. Maybe he was trained this way. Or maybe he just fucking loves it. Let's face the facts here. This is the kind of guy who kills not because he has to, but because he wants to. He relishes, no; relish is a weak word. Whenever this guy cuts down an opponent, he's just fulfilled every single twisted fantasy in his young dark mind. You could say he gets a mental ejaculation each and every time he kills someone. But here's the scary thing; he couldn't care less if you were a friend or an enemy. If he felt like killing you he would and wouldn't lose a second of sleep over it. He does however respect strength, and Canaan has that in ample supply. He has respect for Tartarax and not so much for Dante, but still, he's technically in the top four and that counts for something right? Asides from that though, he doesn't give a flying fuck about you or what you think about him.



~Abilities and Skills~
Speciality:
[list][*]Monstrous Swordsmanship: Having spent entire centuries learning from his supernatural parents, Muxalza has garnered enough swordsmanship skill to combat 5 Lieutenants and still come out on top with ease. He could be called the Kenpachi of Hueco Mundo and that still wouldn't cut it. He is simply a monstrosity at swordplay.
[*]Monstrous Hierro: In direct ties with his powers, Muxalza has the strongest Hierro in Hueco Mundo hands down. To fully grasp its durability, think of it this way; his Hierro arguably stronger than Tartarax's, and seems to be getting stronger.
[*]Sonido Master: Muxalza is in effect the complete package with this last power. He is quite literally second to only Canaan in this respect, something that greatly itches at him. But so is his lot in life. One must understand though, he is by no means stronger than the Primera in any respect. He is simply superior in combat. In terms of raw power, he is in the right place.

Abilities:
  • Raging Aura: Just being around Muxalza causes one's anger to build. If you're near him, you might begin to slowly get angry. The difference though, is why you get angry. The aura tends to search for the few things that tick you off more than anything else and constantly remind you, bring it to the forefront of your mind and proceed to play movies (not literally) of it in your mind over and over and over again. However, it tends to take a little bit of concentration instead of him just having the power to constantly make people angry, because he does that just fine on his own. However, if you don't have an angry disposition, the ability won't necessarily work on you.
  • Sand Control: Something that Muxalza has always had the ability to do is to manipulate sand. Anywhere sand is found, whether that be in rocks, metal, jewelry, anywhere at all, Muxalza can and will use it. However, the more minute the sand is, the harder it is for him to draw it out if it’s in a sword or something.
    Range: All
    Duration: Forever
  • High Speed Regeneration: Muxalza possesses the ability to regenerate any lost part of his body except for major body organs. This however takes reiatsu to use.
  • Pesquisa: He has a very abnormal Pesquisa in the sense that it's passive as long as he is on the ground. What this means is that in aerial combat he has to actually use this ability in order to gauge your strength.
  • Sonido: The Arrancar variant of Shunpo.
  • Hierro: Iron Skin.
  • Cero: One of his more powerful ranged attacks. (Brown)
  • Gran Rey Cero: The Espada exclusive variant of the Cero. Much more powerful. (Red)


Strengths
  • Lack of Compassion: While he does come off at first as a nice person, deep down Muxalza couldn’t give less of a damn about your existence. Hell, he doesn’t even care about his own.
  • Genius Intellect: Another scary part of this monster is his intelligence. Known as one of the smartest Arrancars around, he is known to have planned entire invasions simply by watching how the people in said areas act.
  • Advanced Growth Rate: Another scary part of this man is that he has one of the fastest learning rates known in Hueco Mundo. Even though this is partially because he was born an Arrancar and therefore had lots of time to practice, he still shocks most people.
  • Combat Pragmatist: He is a fighter to his core. In terms of the art of battle, there are none to match Muxalza. He will bring guns to sword fights, swords to dagger fights, daggers to fist fights, a Death Star to nautical battles, he'll do it all.

Weaknesses
  • Lack of Compassion: His lack of compassion also means that he couldn’t care less, effectively meaning that he doesn’t calculate casualties the way most armies do.

~Character History~
Before Death Arc/ Hollow Arc/ Power Arc: Death? What death. How do you think he got the name of ‘Pure One’? You see, Muxalza isn’t your average Arrancar with the whole sappy story of a sad life and an even sadder afterlife. He was born this way. The son to the previous Primera and Segunda, Muxalza was shown a life of luxury from the start, having both parents and their respective Fraccion for bodyguards and family. That was, however, until he snapped while playing with his father, the Primera’s, Fraccion Muerte Doloroso. Something inside his brain popped a screw and he decapitated the man before he knew what had happened. At this point, people already knew something was wrong with him, but instead of dealing with it like most parents, his parents saw it as a good thing. An Arrancar should be able to dispose of people without dilemma. However, what they didn’t forsee, was that he REALLY didn’t have a problem with disposing of people. A few years later, while he and his mother were out playing, the Tercera came up. Apparently, his mother had gotten on his nerves and he was there to settle things the Espada way. This did not sit well with Muxalza. A battle ensued. One that pitted Espada against inherent Espada. After the battle was over, only one being still stood on the sands alive. Muxalza Equilatro. Unconsciously absorbing all the Tercera’s reiatsu, Muxalza’s powers soared to new levels. Unfortunately, so did his bloodlust. The joy of battle, the feeling of pain, the wet, warm, sticky embrace of blood called out to this child with all the passion of a desperate lover. The child listened. His journey to power was bloody. In the words of his great-grandfather, Barragan Luisenbairn, “Do not force me to walk a path not stained by blood.” These words defined who Muxalza has grown up to become. In his view of things, the only way to settle something is by fighting to the death. Called boorish, called effective to him. A few centuries ago, he snapped once more, this time deciding that he would go for the ultimate power. His parents’. After a long and arduous battle, Muxalza managed to slay both of his parents, sending his power beyond even what he thought he would achieve. He saw himself taking over Hueco Mundo; no, Hueco Mundo was too small. He saw himself as King of the World. He saw a future where statues were erected in his name, where rebellion against him would be crushed in the swiftest and most painful form possible, where he would be the next Aizen, only this time successful. He saw himself as the Spirit King. And he was on his way. A new generation of Espada had popped up, with him taking the rank of Segunda. And while it isn't the strongest position, he has come to terms with this very simple fact; he doesn't want to lead. What he does want, as he has now discovered, is a sea of blood to swim in. He will follow Canaan with the most stalwart loyalty as long as he gets to kill, and kill at his discretion. He doesn't want all the diplomacy and whatnot that comes with the position of leadership. What he wants is the screams and the fear and the panic that is rampant in the minds of those who he will make his victims.

RP Sample
"Dude, you really need to start referring to me by my name. Or at least call me Fraccion, or Arrancar. But DON'T you ever call me scum again. You've released, and it looks like you still won't be able to take me down. By the by, let me show what my Resurreccion does."

Raising his arm, his shuriken flew from the side of the building and landed in his open palm. The air began to swirl with dust and sand flying everywhere around Muxalza as he got a bestial grin on his face.

"Pay attention Kosshi. You're about to witness something I have never shown anyone else. And despite how many double entendres were contained in that last sentence, I'm going to ignore them anyways. My true power will be shown to you now and this will decide who is 'scum'."

"Grit, Desertio."

With those two simple words, the already tempestuous atmosphere gained a whole new dimension. And in the middle of it, unscathed by all that happened stood a new being. One of power and ferocity. The Pure One, Muxalza Equilatro in his true form. With all the rage of a maddened psychopath, Muxalza charged Kosshi, attacking with a flurry of trident strikes and sand spears. Charging a Cero in front of his forehead, he released the beam of energy point blank at the Arrancar's face, then followed up with a slice to the midsection. The end result? Artistic. With his head taken clean of, his body fell to the ground in three pieces. His legs, his torso, and his head. Muxalza's trophy.

Appearance: You see the sword in my character description? Of course that one. That's what his Zanpakuto looks like. As a heads up though, the hilt is made of immensely compacted sand.

  • : Enhanced Rage Aura: When in his Resureccion, Muxalza’s rage aura’s ability is multiplied tenfold, driving the most calm and collected of opponents straight of the edge.
  • Earth Control: In this form, his control of sand is then broadened to the control of anything earth related. We’re talking stone, cement, precious stones, metal and so on and so forth.
  • Immense Hierro: His already potent Hierro is almost tripled in durability due to his body feeling the need to become one with the stone and as such he gains the protective skin equivalent to a diamond.
  • Tridenta Maldito: A trident forged from the sand contained in Muxalza's sword hilt. Also very concentrated and capable of some disgusting reach.



Abilities:
  • Tridenta Maldito (Trident of Doom): A poisonous trident. The poison does this in effect; it creates a proverbial leak in your reiryoku tank. The more reiryoku you use for anything, the more of it is drained until eventually there is none left. So kind of like a car with a fuel leak.
    Type: Melee, Poison
    Range: All
    Duration: Forever
  • Clones Arena (Sand Clones): From the surrounding earth and the sand on his body, Muxalza is capable of creating clones. These clones in themselves are semi-strong and up to 5 of them can be summoned at any given time. What makes them powerful is where they get their reiatsu from. In order for these clones to form, a small bit of reiryoku must be drawn from an outside source. Namely, his opponents.
    Type: Clone
    Range: 500ft before they dissipate.
    Duration: 10 posts.
  • Perritos Tierra (Dirt Puppies): These are essentially giant Cerberuses sprung from the same earth that forms the Sand Clones and are also formed by draining reiryoku from the opponent. What differentiates them is what they have the capacity to do. When these dogs attach themselves to any given object that gives off a considerable amount of reiatsu, they explode with immense force and power, also sending sharp waves of sand and rock into an opponents skin.
    Type: Summoning
    Range: 1000 feet.
    Duration: 5 posts.
  • Arena Piramide (Sand Pyramid): This ability enables Muxalza to create a giant dome of sand. While it might be classified under sand control, the main power of this ability is this. Once he and his opponent are inside something happens. All forms of reiryoku are wiped out of both opponents for their duration of their fight until one of them is dead. More specifically, all the ways that reiryoku is allowed to leave the body are sealed, effectively rendering moves like Shunpo, its variants, Kidos, Ceros, Balas, any form of outer reiryoku from being used. In addition, it also shuts down the flow of reiryoku in the body, preventing one from flaring or quieting down their reiatsu. So in effect, it forces one to rely on either their hand-to-hand combat and/or their swordsmanship skills. It just can't be made stronger. So in effect, when this ability is used, everyone goes back to their base stage. Shinigamis revert back to their base power level and Arrancars revert back to their humanoid appearance. It is usually a last resort move as it has one deadly drawback. It will kill. Whenever it senses a loser (whenever someone in the RP loses or dies), the dome will implode on itself while sending the winner a far distance away. This will either severely injure them or just straight out kill them.
    Type: Area Effect
    Range: 1000ft
    Duration: As long as it takes.
  • Cero Mal (Evil Cero): This Cero is one of the few techniques that actually requires Muxalza to tax his reiryoku supply. A brown Cero in color, its power easily surpasses that of a Gran Rey Cero, and I do mean easily.
    Type: Energy Beam
    Range: 800ft
    Duration: N/A
  • Desmana Sonido: A form of Sonido that could rank equally with the Utsusemi.
    Type: Self
    Range: All
    Duration: N/A

This ability starts to go into godmodding / mind control a bit. If you can find a way to work this into an attack rather than an innate and always there ability I can accept this.


Other than that everything seems fine from what was mentioned in the C-box. Also, no abilities listed in the Res form. You cool with that? Or did you wanna add techniques?

Depends on how you word it. The banning of absorption applies directly to other people (thus why your particular apsorbtion is a no-co, which I missed, because it takes it from people blah blah blah yadda yadda) so if you work it in there so that it doesn't directly impact people but maybe change the tides of a fight for an amount of time or even just fuels your attacks, then it's all okay.

Although that might be easier if it was Reishi and not reiryoku. Reishi can be found anywhere, reiryoku can be too albeit you'd have to have some NPCs constantly around...which can just be obnoxiously irritating. Meh.

All in all:

Wanna be a vampire, that's fine. Find a way to do it that doesn't require played character =) And a way that isn't too overpowered as well (i.e. You take in a little and you cause some massive attack to happen)

there is one way to get around mages ban on stealing Reiriyoku and that is to directly attack in order to get it such as biting the opponent and staying latched on to drain it.However it would be noted that most creatures have rather violatile Reiriyoku making such lethal to the attempter. And to get that close would certainly put your character in harms way.

Waaaait. Rage Aura still needs tweeking because its character control. Like I said if you can find a way to make it more of an attack or something that isn't just: "Be near him, get mad." Then I will approve it.

And his poison sap an enemy's reiyoku. Which, good job saying reiyoku and not reiatsu. Unless you see a different poison that I am missing.

Also, he is applying for the Cero Espada last I checked. Unless he removed it from the app. Which I just checked and its still there. Hehe.

Hierro would be eliminated as well since it is reliant upon an Arrancar's reiryoku. Without the reiryoku flowing, then there is nothing to fuel this ability. Even though it's reiryoku taxation on the Arrancar is minimal at best, the ability would completely negate it.

Needs a duration that is not forever or some other insanely large amount of time.

This borders on player control. Emotions are a tricky thing to play with. If you can work this in a way that it only effects certain people, or it is avoidable, or stipulations then it might be acceptable. As it is now though I'm kindda skeptical about it...

As far as the Trident goes, it's forged from the very sand that Muxalza controls, something like Gran Caida or Starrk's bandoleers.

Asides from that, fixed up everything else.

Continuing with what Val was saying:

If that's the case then the trident is a weapon. So it should be listed as that, not an ability.

Also, I'm going to throw in there that the poison part of it should be separated and made into an ability. The extending bit though is fine, since you control earth and blah blah. The poison part though...The sand you have is not inherently poisonous. Which is fine, cause I'd tell you to remove that if it was like that anyway. The point is, the source of the trident isn't poisonous, so shaping it shouldn't just make it become lethal in said way. Slide the poison part of that guy into the active abilities list and we will call it all good =)
